I have ordered here multiple times. The tacos are jam packed and delicious. The fish is fried well and crispy as well the al pastor tastes truly authentic it has a great blend of Chiles. 10/10
If you were familiar with this place before the "remodel", you know what to expect. If you've never been here and are considering getting some Mexican take out or coming in for a delicious meal, do it! You will not be disappointed. The new menu design is s clear and easy to read. They've added a small bar with 6 chairs for seating. There are 6 tables for customers to sit at for eating in. Food has always been fresh.
La Estrella is back open! This is one of my families favorite places for takeout in town. The prices are fair, their setup for togo is excellent and the food is still fresh but not soggy when you get it and the flavors are great. Personally I love the chorizo options, but we have had all the meats and they are all very good. Prices are very fair and they have just re-done the inside and it looks great so we may have to sit and relax instead of takeout next time. There are a few takeout options for Mexican in town but La Estrella is by far my favorite.
Was in the area and saw this place on google maps. So glad that i stopped in on a whim. These tacos were absolutely LOADED, delicious and messy just as a taco should be. They don't skimp on the meat, sauce, cilantro or onions and all the flavors are perfectly balanced. I was hoping the birria would come with cheese but they were still very good. Next time I'm going to try the birria quesadilla and or ask poor them to add cheese to the taco. Service was great as well. You see here was only about 20 Birria - 8.6 Pasto - 9.4
Amazing! It was a quiet late lunch for us due to being at Milford hospital. Searched “Mexican” and found this on maps. I also searched my gluten free app and this wasn’t on there. Got there and the whole menu was labeled with what was GF and what was not. Drinks were 10/10 fresh clean and crisp. Food was incredible. Got the Burria tacos and they were loaded and cooked to perfection and hot temp-wise! Awesome place. Felt like I was transported somewhere else for an hour.
This is a small place. They seem to do a huge business in take out. The food was pretty good. They have a cheese sauce that was really tasty. There was no push for us to leave. The portions are good size, but not huge. The staff was really friendly. The service was pretty quick, especially with the volume they were doing. I don't remember the name of the dish. The meat was very tasty. The rice had a nice mild taste. The price seemed about right for the size and quality of food. There are only a few seats. The place seemed pretty clean.
The owner lady? Is so nice and helpful, as well as everyone there: all smiles and ensuring your entire experience is PERFECT! the tacos were amazing, u liked the birria more than the carnitas, and those better than the chicken. The rice was very flavorable, and the refried beans were perfectly done!
I’m torn about leaving this review. If I tell you actually how great it is, I may not be able to get a table next time.... There’s no other place I’ll go for authentic Mexican that feels like family.
